How to open a bitcoin account and how can you use it for MyMatrix?

Bitcoin is a currency and it is independent. I mean to say that if you have some bitcoin in your wallet, then only you can control your account. As it is independent, it's becoming very popular. Nowadays many websites are running only with bitcoin. As the company has no control over it and it is almost impossible to hack the account, so it has become one of the safest currency. Our program MyMatrix is based upon only bitcoin. So you will need a bitcoin wallet. Today I will try to discuss about opening a bitcoin account and how can you work with it.

Blockchain

There are so many wallets of bitcoin but the most trusted and safest wallet is blockchain. They have very high security and so much info about bitcoin. Even if you have any other bitcoin wallet, or you will open a bitcoin wallet in any other website, you will always need to come to the blockchain website for getting some info because many wallets doesn't have that information which will be needed in MyMatrix. MyMatrix also recommend this wallet the most. I also use only blockchain, though they have a little high fee. Remind you that you can have your account in any wallet but the hash ID which will be needed in MyMatrix can't be found in many wallets. I will try to discuss about blockchain as I have opened my account only in blockchain.

Registration

Go to blockchain by clicking this link. You can also go to blockchain.info and then click wallet. You will see a page like below.

Click create your wallet. Then you will see a signup page like the image below.

Complete the simple signup by filling up the Email, password box, checking the 'I have read and agree to the Terms of Service' box after reading their Terms of Service and clicking Continue.

Then they will send you an email with your Wallet ID. They are some random symbols and numbers with some dashes between them like '1abc2345-d6ef-7g8h-910i-jk1lmno11pqr'. Remember that it is your wallet ID. Don't confuse it with your wallet address. This ID is used only for your login into the bitcoin wallet.

How to use blockchain account for transactions?

 

Click here and login to your account by providing your Wallet ID and Password. As blockchain is so secure, they will send a message to your email account. After confirming the email, you will be able to access your account. After accessing your account go to security center for making your account secure. Go to settings for setting your account up. Don't forget to read the FAQ section as you will be able to understand the blockchain system by reading them. I am just showing you how you can receive bitcoin in your wallet and how you can send bitcoin from your wallet to other wallet.

How to receive bitcoin?

This is one of the important step as you will get your bitcoin through this process. In MyMatrix, you need to provide wallet address while registering there.

After logging in your bitcoin wallet, click 'Receive'. You will see like the photo below.

You will get a wallet address. It will be generated automatically. Now copy and share the wallet address with them from whom you want to receive btc or send them the QR code and tell them to scan it. In MyMatrix, you will need to submit the wallet address.

Note: Bitcoin wallet address is always get changed when the previous one is used to do any transaction but don't worry. The previous wallet address you used to receive bitcoin is assigned to your account only. If any future transaction is made through that address, you will receive the fund.

How to send bitcoin?

You can see the 'Send' button beside the 'Receive' button. Click Send and you will see a photo like below.

Now copy and paste the wallet address where you want to send btc or scan the QR code. Now write down the BTC amount you want to send the receiver and click Next Step.

After clicking the Next Step, they will add a fee for the transaction and you will need to confirm it.

Note: This fee isn't taken by blockchain or MyMatrix. This fee is taken for the miners, who will do the mining and confirm your transaction. The fee may vary every time according to the amount sent, the server pressure and block size.
Customize Fee: You can also adjust the fee. After clicking the Send button, you will see an 'Customize Fee' button and the page will be like the photo below.

You can adjust the fee from the Transaction Fee. If you haven't enough fee or if you want to make your transaction faster, then you can use this option. The miners clear the transaction faster, when they get a higher fee. I will suggest you not to use the 'Customize Fee' option, if you are not familiar with this because if you set a low fee, it may not be confirmed ever. The Regular fee option take the regular time and its set by blockchain according to the situation. So if you are new to btc, then use Regular fee or Priority for a faster and smooth send.

How to find Hash ID?

As you are not depositing any money to MyMatrix, so your transaction will be confirmed through hash ID.

After sending the money click the button marked in the picture above. You will see a page like the photo below.

The random numbers and symbol marked in the picture will be the hash ID. After submitting the hash ID and the amount you sent, it will take some seconds/minutes for the confirmation of your transaction and you will be able to take your step in MyMatrix.
